TECHNICAL CONSULTING SERVICE .... HESCO's professional Engineers and Architects are available as consultants to assist the designers, client, contractors and individuals from early design to structural Engineering, placement of HESCO's Varipanels and maintenance of your buildings. Their specialized experience can provide you with satisfactory information needed to make practical decisions.

SELLING.... HESCO has a network of district offices staffed with sales engineers in western, central and eastern province. We have also deferent agents in the Gulf States and other Middle East countries. Our sales engineers are specially trained for servicing our valued customers to submit quotation and other technical aspects.

ENGINEERING..... HESCO's Professional Engineers and Architects staffed are especially trained and experienced to designing the engineering detailing of shop drawings to ensure the fabrication of cladding and decking with right dimensions to satisfy our customer perfectly.

MANUFACTURING ..... HESCO's Varipanel profiles are locally manufactured in Jeddah, HESCO Plant, in accordance with final approved shop drawings. HESCO's raw materials are coming from reputable suppliers worldwide to attain the highest quality conforming to international standard. HESCO's products are certified by the most reputable in dependent laboratories in U.K. and U.S.A. to ensure the quality control and assurance. FIELD ERECTIONS SUPERVISION .... HESCO's field erection supervision service is available at any time and any where in the country. Erection's supervisor will demonstrate the erection of cladding based on erection drawings provided and train your erection crew to ensure the installation being done based on manufacturer's standard practice for a smooth, efficient installation with a minimum and economical erection time.

RESEARCHED AND DEVELOPMENT .... HESCO has a continuing research and development program to provide new products and its improvements of manufacturing techniques.

VARIPANEL ROOF & WALL SINGLE SKIN PANEL AND METAL DECK

1. SCOPE :

  • A. This section covers furnishing and installation of factory manufactured performed metal Varipanel skin panel & Metal deck with all the required accessories in accordance with all applicable drawings and as specified herein.
  • 2. MATERIALS:

  • A. Profiled single skin panels shall be formed of galvanized steel conforming to ASTM, B.S, and German Din Standard, Structural quality with hot dipped commercial quality galvanized coated. Single skin sheet shall be of different gauges, depth, cover width & finishes
  • 3. COATING SPECIFICATION FOR EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR METAL SKINS:

  • A. Substrate: hot - dipped galvanized steel, minimized spangle conforming to British Standard Specification, B.S. & German Din with zinc coating.

    B. Face Side:

    1. Pre-Treatment: After cleaning, a "Chemical Conversion" of the zinc coating to a non metallic surface with corrosion inhibiting and adhesive additives.

    2. Primer: Nominal 5-7 microns thick anti corrosive pigmented Epoxy primer applied to both sides.

    3. External weather Coat: Nominal 27 microns thick Kynar PVF2 or other exterior coating pigmented in one of the standard colors in manufacturer's range

    C. Back Face: Coated with HESCO standard primer wash coat.

  • 4. REFERENCES:

  • 5. SUBMITTALS :

  • A. Make submittals in accordance with special provision

    B. Samples: Submit samples, minimum 300 mm (12 inch) square, of single skin panels with specified finish coating in color as shown on the drawings or as selected by the Client Representative. Submit separate color samples if two or more deferent coating manufacturer's systems are to be used on materials furnished under the section.

    C. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's technical data on coating system verifying compliance with this specification.

    D. Shop drawing: Submit shop drawings showing list of materials, dimensions, sections, forming details, method of installation, type of fasteners and spacing, location of lapped joints and all other pertinent information.

  • 6. QUALITY ASSURANCE:

  • A. Installer's Qualifications: qualified erector shall install Panels. The overall responsibility, however, shall rest with the main contractor.

    B. Performance standard metal panels shall have been tested by an independent testing agency and shall have met the performance requirements under paragraph 3 for the performance requirements.

  • 7. PRODUCT DELIVERY, HANDLING & STORAGE:

  • A. Protect all members from damage. Factory damaged materials shall be replaced at on additional cost to the client.

    B. Upon arrival at the job-site, all materials shall be carefully unloaded and stored at locations selected by the contractor. Handle panels with non-marring slings. Exercise extreme care when unloading and lifting into place so as to prevent scratching bending, bowing or other damage. Coordinate with other contractors and other client representative at site

  • 8. INSPECTION:

    A. General: Inspect surfaces to receive work under this section. The contractor for work under this section shall verify that all support members have been properly installed and are in alignment. Do not proceed with any work until defects, if any are repaired Commencement of work constitutes acceptance of conditions.

    9 INSTALLATION:

  • A. General: comply with panel fabricator's and material manufactures' instructions and recommendations for installation, as applicable to project conditions and supporting substrates. Horizontal lines shall be straight and level; vertical lines shall be plump.

    B. Installations Tolerances: Shim and align panel units within installed tolerance of plus or minus 3mm in 6000mm (1/8 in 20 feet) on level / plumb /slope and location lines as indicated, and within 3mm (1/8 inch) offset of adjoining faces and of alignment of manufacturing.

  • 10. CLEANING AND PROTECTION:

  • A. Damage Units: Replace panels and other components of the work which have been damaged to have deteriorated beyond successful repair by means of finish touch up of similar minor repair procedures.

    B. Cleaning: upon completion of panel installation clean finish surfaces as recommended by panel manufacturer
